HEALTH & GENETICS
Our program actively works to reduce and eliminate negative recessive genetic traits found within the breed.
German Shepherds can carry conditions such as MDR1, DM, pituitary dwarfism, DJD, transitional vertebrae, copper toxicosis, and more. These traits are testable and, with proper breeding decisions, preventable.
